During Science Fair 2026, which took place between 4 and 6 June in Prague, Czechia, SpongeBoost comic books were displayed at a stand hosted by the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem (UJEP). The Science Fair is the largest popular science event in the Czech Republic, organised by the Czech Academy of Sciences since 2015. It explores science in all its forms and offers visitors the most interesting aspects of the natural sciences, engineering, humanities, and social sciences.

As this annual event promotes interactive and creative approaches to communicating complex scientific phenomena, SpongeBoost was showcased through the Czech translations of its two comic book volumes. Using engaging storytelling and illustrations, the comic books explain sponge landscapes, wetland restoration, and nature-based solutions for water retention and climate resilience in an accessible and appealing way.
